Senior Choir

Hand Chimes

November 9, 2020 NEWS:

Music News and Greetings, from Edy...

Due to increased numbers of COVID and scheduling conflicts with several members --- there will not be any handchime practices presently and the choir will not be meeting during the month of November.
Everyone please stay safe.

          Edy, Music Director

Edy loves sharing texts she finds, this was from a CPH blog about Christmas hymns:

All around us are the songs of Christmas that carry God's Word into our ears, and then to our hearts.  They say:

"and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude

in your hearts to God."

 (Colossians 3:16)

Music at Eternal Hope Lutheran Church comes alive to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to strengthen lives of the gathered community of faith.  We include congregational singing in all the services of the church year.  Whether led by organ, choir, chime group or Sunday School singers, music is a central part of worship and gives voice to our faith.

Music during Eternal Hope's traditional services and other events comes from the historical Lutheran Service Book, and hymns are accompanied by our organ.

Our services are enhanced with special music several times a month.  This is an opportunity for everyone to develop spiritual friendships by participating in any of our music groups.  Our adult choir, junior choir, men's choir, hand chime group and Sunday School are open to all.
